The design of this family office at Old Parkland is all about invitation. From the moment that a user or visitor arrives, they are greeted with warmth, light, and openness. GFF Interiors approached the project with workplace wellness in mind and reinforced those ideas with the client’s desire to make each space a place for more casual gathering in addition to more traditional functions. The breakroom doubles as workspace and a small lounge seating area in the Board Room means that it can be used for more than traditional meetings. Open standing areas were carefully programmed to ensure that the spaces can accommodate events and large gatherings, while a library is positioned just past reception to act as a warm, comfortable receiving space for visiting clients. Aesthetically rich wood tones give a nod to an old-world charm and glass enhances the design, providing a modern touch in a high-end, luxury finish out. Venetian plaster, neutral tile patterns, and clean, modern furniture complement the wood accents and visually allow the user to focus on the client’s extensive art collection.
