McCarthy Building Companies, based in Richardson, Texas, is the oldest privately held national construction company in America. As they primarily focus on large ground-up projects, they entrusted HRNCIR to finish out their new headquarters. Designed by Ink + Oro in collaboration with 5G Studio, the space reflects the strength of McCarthy’s culture, the history of the company, and the sophistication of their work.

The nearly 42,000-square-foot first-generation buildout was tailored for function and impact. Stadium-style seating with large inset screens allows for dynamic presentations, while operable Skyfold partitions offer flexibility between training rooms and break areas. The layout supports a mix of executive offices and collaborative workspaces, balancing focus with connectivity.

Amenities like a striking, wood-clad game room and bold gathering spaces promote team building and reflect the company’s people-first mindset. The result is a headquarters that feels distinctly McCarthy—hardworking, sharp, and built to last.
