McCarthy Building Companies, the oldest privately held national construction firm in America, tapped HRNCIR to build out and later expand their Richardson, Texas office to reflect their growth and strong commitment to culture.

The initial 2022 buildout transformed the top floor of their building into a headquarters that honors McCarthy’s legacy while supporting their future. Designed by Ink + Oro in collaboration with 5G Studio, the space features bold amenities like a wood-clad game room, stadium-style seating with integrated AV, and operable Skyfold partitions for flexibility between training and break areas. The layout blends private offices with open workspaces, balancing focus and collaboration.

In 2024, HRNCIR returned to expand and update the space, adapting it to support an even larger team and evolving operational needs. The continuity of design and execution across both phases reinforces McCarthy’s identity: hardworking, sharp, and built to last.
